Assam Laksa 亚参加沙




Assam laksa is a dish made from kembong fish broth, the ingredients also includes ginger, galangal, shallots, lemongrass, daun kesom, assam keping and etc. This thick and gravy soup taste sour and spicy with strong fish aroma. For spicy food lovers, this is a must eat cuisine, it is so delicious, it will teases and tantalize your taste buds.

Penang assam laksa is always the first to pop out in our mind when talking about assam laksa. In my opinion, I think Penang laksa taste sweeter because they add more prawn paste and the texture of the noddles is very soft, smooth and blend well with the soup. In other places, assam laksa is slightly taste sour than sweet. I also found that the noodles texture in Kuala Lumpur is relatively chewier, may be source from different factory.
